PROUD MOMENT FOR SAKEC RESEARCH CELL- CELEBRATION OF COLLABORATION WITH PROJECT LAUNCH- Journey from National level collaboration to International level.
With a delightful heart SAKEC research cell announces moving one step again towards attaining the vision of SAKEC, to be known as a Globally Recognized Institution !!!!!!!!
With the collaborative efforts and mentorship of Dr. Ruth Butlin(UK) from London school of hygiene and tropical medicine , Dr. V V Pai (India) Director, Bombay Leprosy Project and Ms. Jalpa Mehta (India) ,Assistant Professor , the project named - Database for extra clofa study has been launched on 4th feb 2021. SAKEC students are working on this International project which in collaboration with well known NGOs ,Bombay Leprosy Project and The Leprosy Mission Bangladesh . These organisations are well established for serving leprosy patients across south asian countries.
The Students have successfully developed an Electronic health Record system that deals with leprosy patients history, follow up forms and clinical records sheets provided by the organizations.The team is thankful to Ms. Pauline scheelbeek (UK), Mr. John Samandar and Mr. Dilip from Leprosy Mission Bangladesh, for providing their valuable suggestions during the course of the project.
