DESCRIPTION



The UNHRC is a subsidiary body of the United Nations General Assembly, dealing with thematic issues relating to human rights and responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations and make recommendations on them.

Agenda : Immigration policies around the world with special attention to Brexit and extreme measures by ICE in the USA.

Saral Uttamani, is an Engineering student from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology . He is probably one of the most ecstatic person you will ever come across. He has been MUNing since the past 4 years and is extremely passionate about fruitful debating. An excellent teacher , a physics enthusiast and a world class nap taker, when not meeting new people he can be found at home binging on Netflix. He's still appropriately funny and we are glad to have him(again).

A mechanical engineer by qualification, Vatsalya Mishra is presently working as a Procurement Analyst at Zycus, a leading global provider of procurement solution suites. An alumnus of TCET, he has been actively involved in organizing previous four editions of TCET - MUN. Vatsalya is a team player and takes everybody's opinion into consideration, a quality that has distinguished him as a delegate as well as a chair in the MUN circuit. He also loves reading, on issues varying from the current affairs to psychology and philosophy. At SAKEC MUN 2019, Vatsalya looks forward to an engaging deliberation backed up by crisp research and logic, as the Co-Chairperson of UNHRC!
