DESCRIPTION


DISEC deals with disarmament-related matters, global challenges and threats to peace that affect the international community and seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime.

Agenda : Preventing the acquisition of chemical, biological and radiological weapons.

Chair

Samriddh Tilwani has been attending Model United Nations conferences alongside debates for a few years now. He specialises in and prefers conducting Security Councils.He believes that attending conferences with such a format helps debaters/speakers grow better and have a better understanding of certain issues and topics that are being discussed at such platforms. He hopes that all of the participants take something away from this experience and do well. Cheers.

Vice Chair

Parshva is in his first year of degree college, whilst also pursuing Chartered Accountancy. He has been a part of Model UN conferences for about three years now, in capacity of both a delegate and a dais member. Historical and economic committees pique Parshva's interest. Outside of MUNs, one will find him reading for a major part of his day, and writing during the reamining. He is well known for his fixation with monarchy, comparative religion and literature. Parshva looks forward to vice-chairing the DISEC.
