5 AEvent on Patent and Design Filling Process 2023-08-22 The event on Patent and Design filing process was conducted on 22nd August 2023 at 3.00PM. The speaker was Dr. Waman Dhumane Hon. Course Director in MNLU Mumbai. He has 22 years of experience in patent and designs also had also worked in Patent office Govt. Of India, as controller of Patent and designed. Dr. Dhumane started the seminar by introducing the various property rights and its areas. Then he explained the patents, trademarks and copyrights using various examples. After patent he explained in detail about design, classification of industrial design and process of application for design. Completed

2 Copyright Filing in India 2023-04-12 An event on “Copyright Filing in India” was organized by Students and Faculty members of SAKEC- IPRC. This event was to give guidance to second year students about Copyright. Ms. Gauri Chavan who is a faculty member of SAKEC IPR Cell explained about the different IPs in India and importance of intellectual property. She explained the different categories of copyrights, various copyright forms, fees of copyright filing. She also explained the procedure of copyright filing in detail. She explained various formats of various documents i.e. institute NOC, individual NOC that are needed to be submitted while filing copyright applications. Completed
3 ‘KAPILA: Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness’ 2023-01-18 KAPILA is a scheme that provides financial assistance to the institutions that are part of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for filing patent. ‘KAPILA: Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness’, which will create appropriate awareness regarding the need of IP filing, mechanism, and methodology involved in filing IP in India and globally, especially amongst students and faculty of higher education institutions. 4 Intellectual Property Rights & Patent, Designs Filing 2022-09-27 The seminar was to understand fundamentals of IPR and a stepwise procedure to file your patents and designs. It was helpful to dwell deep into the world of patent filing. 5 Intellecetual property rights (IPR) & Patents, Designs filing 2022-09-15 SAKEC IPRC in association with RGNIIPM Nagpur, Ministry of Commerce & Industry Government of India, and IPR Training Institute wishes to conduct an online session on Intellectual property rights (IPR) & Patents, Designs filing. 6 Orientation Program of IPR and Patenting (B.E Sem VIII) 2020-01-15 Dr. Kranti Ghag explained the main objective of the Orientation Program and appreciated different faculties from other colleges who attended the program. She also explained in detail about syllabus contents and depth of coverage for each module in the syllabus. SAKEC IPRC members actively participated in discussing assignments for the subject. She explained the copyright and what are the various domains in which one can go for copyright. Ms. Deepa Ekhande explained the login process of copyright filing. Participant created their user id. Ms. Gauri Chavan explained the steps of e-filing process of copyright in India. She has explained various columns in the form and how to submit the form.
