On the 8th day of Virtual Training Series, πŸŽ—οΈ Practice to Perfect πŸŽ—οΈ for Batch 2022 i.e. 20th July 2021, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell had organized a session on latest campus test pattern, β€œPseudo Code Analysis”.

Pseudo code is a term which is often used in programming and algorithm based fields. It is a methodology that allows the programmer to represent the implementation of an algorithm. Often, algorithms are represented with the help of pseudo codes as they can be interpreted by programmers no matter what their programming background or knowledge is.
πŸŽ™οΈMr. Tejas Hirve, Assistant Professor, SAKEC had conducted a session with key content required for a programmer to draft out the structure of the program prior to the actual coding. He also discussed the latest campus placement pattern which includes pseudocode test and basics of programming construct like C loop, Conditional statement, Functions, and many more.

Along with this activity, students have also practiced an Online Mock Test on Quantitative Aptitude. The overall objective of the session is that students should get familiarized with the test pattern and also work on speed and accuracy for better results.

In Training session 2, speakers from Rubicon conducted a session on group discussion. In the context of working in a company, teamwork becomes essential as they require a diverse workforce and personnel who work well in a team and produce results. They use group discussion for processes like hiring. In this regard, the speaker shared group discussion tips with the students. This will surely enhance students “Life Skills” which would help them significantly to increase their chance of succeeding in a job interview.

The overall objective of the session is that students should get familiarized with the test pattern and also work on speed and accuracy for better results.
In Training session 2, speakers from Rubicon conducted a β€œLife Skill” Program. The program aims at improving the overall employability skills of the youth. Under this program students are getting trained by Corporate Trainers to enhance their Life skills which would help them significantly to increase their chance of succeeding in a job interview.

The session was delivered by πŸŽ™οΈ Mr. Siddhant Pokle, Software engineer from LTI. In this session, students were told about how effective communication plays a keen role in this challenging era and discussed many key points about how to improve communication and how to build confidence so as to compete in the corporate sector. Along with this activity students have also practiced Online Mock Tests on Logical Aptitude.
In Training session 2, speakers from Rubicon conducted a session on grooming for the corporate world. Dressing has a role to play when it comes to analyzing the personality of an individual. For most people, following corporate rules is just a way of getting notices. But there are a few do’s and don’ts that have been discussed in detail in this session. This will surely enhance students’ Life Skills which would help them significantly to increase their chance of succeeding in a job interview.

A mock interview is an emulation of a job interview used for training purposes. The conversational exercise usually resembles a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing experience for a student. It can help a job applicant to understand what is expected in a real job interview. πŸŽ™οΈ Ms.Yugandhara Bhosale, Software Engineer from Analog Devices, Bangalore conducted the Mock Interview session. This session was about how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improve on technical skills and reduce stress before an actual job interview. Along with this activity students have also practiced Online Mock Tests on Logical Aptitude.
In Training session 2, speakers from Rubicon conducted a β€œLife Skill” Program. Email etiquette has been discussed in the session as email communication is still one of the most common ways to get in touch with someone for work.

Security is a fundamental component in Computing and Networking technology. The first and foremost thing of every network designing, planning , building and operating a network is the importance of a strong security policy. With the advent of the internet, security became a major concern. In Training session, πŸŽ™οΈProf.Vaishali Hirlekar, Assistant Professor from Department of Computer Engineering covered the important aspects related to Network security such as understanding the need of security, key principles, and approaches of Network Security, security mechanisms, different types of attacks and also discussed top cybersecurity attacks and its prevention mechanism. Overall the session was very informative and interactive. The students gave an overwhelming response by participating in huge numbers and enjoyed learning through the virtual platform.
Along with this activity, students have also practiced an online Mock Test on Quantitative Aptitude. The overall objective of the session is that students should get familiarized with the test pattern and also work on speed and accuracy for better results.

Resume is a fundamental requirement for the interview process and consequently the first step for placement preparations. It is basically a student first impression for possible recruiters as it displays applicant’s educational qualifications, abilities, skills, projects, etc. To succeed in today’s job market, crafting a well-formatted resume well before the placements is a must. πŸŽ™οΈ Ms. Smita Rane, owner of Asmita Solution had conducted an interactive session with the students. This session was about how to build an effective resume. She discussed the importance of resume sections like heading, objective/aspirations, education and work experience and the importance of languages.
πŸŽ™οΈMs. Deepti Pawar , Assistant Professor from SAKEC took a session on Quantitative Aptitude Tips & Tricks. As these shortcut tricks on the Quantitative Aptitude method will help students to do Quantitative Aptitude mentally and very quickly in turns, it helps to boost their confidence. πŸŽ™οΈ Mr. Jeet Dagha from Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from batch 2018 gave an enlightening session on Journey from Engineer to Professional. He had talked about many essential skills such as experience and learning new technologies, making faster decisions, taking responsibilities and ownerships, working with cross functional teams, learning to assess risks, learning to communicate better and setting right expectations. He also highlighted all the important phases in the career and discussed choosing the potential career path.
In Training session 2, speakers from Rubicon conducted a β€œLife Skill” Program. The program aims at improving the overall employability skills of the youth. Under this program students are getting trained by Corporate Trainers to enhance their Life skills which would help them significantly to increase their chance of succeeding in a job interview. These skills involved statistical, forecasting and estimation techniques, formulation and application of mathematics. The overall aim of the Quantitative training is to provide a brief introduction to basic quantitative methods and tricks to solve mathematical logical problems used to ask at different placement interview processes.

He suggested that students will have to show discipline towards their life and their study as there is no one to check on them, only then they can think of getting the best from this troubled time. On the 5th day of Virtual Training Series Practice to Perfect for Batch 2021 i.e. 20th June 2020, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell had organized a Mock Personal Interview session and Aptitude Mock Test. A mock interview is an emulation of a job interview used for training purposes. The conversational exercise usually resembles a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing experience for a student. It can help a job applicant to understand what is expected in a real job interview.

Ms.Yugandhara Bhosale, Software Engineer from Analog Devices, Bangalore conducted the Mock Interview session. This session was about how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improving on technical skills and reduce stress before an actual job interview. Along with this activity students have also practiced online Mock Test on Logical Aptitude.

It is basically student first impression for possible recruiters as it displays applicant’s educational qualifications, abilities, skills, projects, etc. To succeed in today’s job market, crafting a well-formatted resume well before the placements is a must.

With this vision, on the 4th day of Virtual Training Series- πŸŽ—οΈ Practice to Perfect πŸŽ—οΈfor Batch 2021 i.e. 19th June 2020, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell had organized a Resume Writing session.
Mr. Bhadresh Sethia, Business Analyst from Elixia Tech Solutions Ltd. has conducted an interactive session with the students. This session was about how to build an effective resume. He discussed about importance of resume sections like heading, objective/aspirations, education and work experience and importance of languages.

Along with this activity, students have also practiced online Mock Test on Quantitative Aptitude. The overall objective of the session that student should get familiarize with the test pattern and also work on speed and accuracy for better results.

So a great strategy here is the need of the hour⏳. Basically, a combination of knowledge, confidence, soft skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities is required to ace the interviews and land with your dream job.
Keeping this in mind SAKEC Training and Placement cell started up with Virtual Training Program πŸŽ—οΈ Practice to Perfect πŸŽ—οΈ for Batch 2021 from 16th June 2020.
Principal Dr. Bhavesh Patel inaugurated the Virtual Training Program πŸŽ—οΈ Practice to PerfectπŸŽ—οΈ and motivated all the attendees to actively participate in the training series by explaining to them the importance of the training modules for upgrading their skill set. Then the series has begun with the Placement Orientation session. Dr. V. C. Kotak had addressed Batch 2021 about rigorous pre-placement training process wherein students are made to realize their positives and focus on areas in which they are best at so that it increases their self-esteem and they can showcase their skills. Also gave Guidelines about Campus Recruitment Process so that the students can be confident to face the placement season 2020-2021 and can come out with flying colors. The second session was a Technical Talk on “Network Security”, Prof. Vaishali Hirlekar, Assistant Professor from Department of Computer Engineering covered the important aspect related to Network security such as understanding the need of security, key principles, and approaches of Network Security, security mechanisms, different types of attacks and also discussed top cybersecurity attacks and its prevention mechanism. Overall the session was very informative and interactive The students gave an overwhelming response by participating in huge numbers and enjoyed learning through the virtual platform.
