A visit to Reliance Corporate Park was organized by SAKEC Placement team on 7th March 2020. SAKEC Faculties and third year students got an opportunity to experience the culture of the company. Ms. Birjis Patel, Mr. Rushabh Jawarkar and Ms. Kajal Daiya , Assistant Managers at Reliance Jio gave brief introduction about the company work culture, facilities, SDLC processes to our students. They have also made them aware of the opportunities available if they dream of pursuing their professional career at Reliance Jio. Ms. Veena Mahesh at Reliance Learning center showcased their ongoing research projects. Ms. Ishita Pahawa and Ms. Jaspreet Kaur gave insight about FTTx technology and services. The objective of the visit was to extend students interaction with the corporate world and develop interest amongst emerging engineers. Our own Alumni’s Devesh Chheda, Vaishnavi Shirke and Swamini Pednekar working in Reliance Jio made our visit truly memorable. |

IEEE SAKEC in collaboration with Training and Placement Cell conducted IEEE UNIVERSITY FAIR on 18th September 2019 in an effort to educate the students about foreign education and the prerequisites for the same. Monash University, Charles Sturt University University of Wollongong conducted the session. The speakers were Pinky Desai from Monash university on the post of manager, agent and School Engagement, Lisha Malhotra as recruitment advisor from UOW and Namita Keskar as student recruitment manager from CSU conducted the session. A one to one session was conducted in which students could talk privately to the speakers of universities they were interested to pursue. This session was very helpful and all queries were solved. |
