The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering , SAKEC in association with IETE-SAKEC student chapter is organizing 71st IIRS online Certificate Course on “Advances in SAR- Polarimetry and interferometry” from December 14th, 2020 to December 18th, 2020 with SAKEC as the remote centre.
ABOUT THE COURSE

  • Basic Concept of Polarimetric SAR Remote Sensing
  • Basics of SAR Interferometry, Data Processing and Applications
  • Hands-on/ practical exercise on PolSAR data Processing
  • Emerging Techniques and Applications of PolSAR and InSAR Remote Sensing
  • Challenges in Polarimetric Decomposition Modelling based scattering retrieval of PolSAR data
  • Online Exam for Students/ Assignment based Assessment for Working Professionals
LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION

As the seats are limited, the registration shall be done on first come, first serve basis.
COURSE DURATION AND STRUCTURE

The course duration is from December 14th, 2020 to December 18th, 2020. There will be Online session each day followed by an interactive session.
FEES

No Course and Exam registration fees

AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

Online examination will be conducted for all course participants attending the course. Fulfillment of criteria of qualifying marks in the exam as well as a minimum attendance are mandatory for the award of the course certificate.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS & ELIGIBILITY

 

  • Faculty members (teachers) of UGC/AICTE approved universities and their affiliated colleges.
  • Faculty members/Scientists/Engineers/ Officers and scientific/technical staff working in the Central/ State Govt. organisations/ institutions.
  • The participants are required to submit a proof of their employment (ID card issued by the employer or a letter certifying the employment of the applicant) at the time of online registration.
  • Students (UG (Any Year) , PG (Any Year) and PhD)
