The Nation Innovation Contest 2020 organised by MHRD’s Innovation Cell is being conducted at Institutional level by IIC 2.0 in collaboration with the E-Cell. In order to make students aware of the rules of the contest and give them the handholding support in submitting their ideas, PoC and Prototype, the PoC validation workshop was conducted online by IIC 2.0 with the E-Cell. All the groups that are participating in NIC 2020 attended it. Students were guided for their ideas, PoC and prototype submission. |
“SHARK TANK 2020” | |

E-CELL SAKEC organized the “SHARK TANK 2020”, a 3 days intercollegiate event for gearing up the start-ups and industry revolutionizing on 5th, 6th and 7th March 2020. Day 1 flagged with Training for pitching the start-up idea by Mr. Awab Fakih. Day 2 included Mock pitching and Mentoring which was also qualifying round by successful entrepreneurs namely Mr. Anil Ahire, Mr. Kushal Shah and Mr. Vansh Pandya, who are also our Alumni. Day 3 involved the Final Pitching round in front of investors. |
“FOOD FIESTA” | |

E-CELL SAKEC organized the “FOOD FIESTA” at the SAKEC campus on 17th February 2020. The session was aimed at providing a platform to students who want to exercise their entrepreneurial talent. The idea was allowing the students to adapt a food stall in the campus and run it for a day. Great enthusiasm was seen among the participating students as well as faculty members of the institute. |

The session was aimed at creating awareness about the cryptocurrency. The speaker explained the concept of cryptocurrency and blockchain, its advantages and risk involved in it. He also explained EXTO exchange, a cryptocurrency exchange and the business opportunities in it. |

Mr. Awab Habib Fakih secured First prize in the Avishkar Research Competition at Local Region & District Level under Ph.D. Pursuing Category, awarded by Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai University and was honoured with the “Young Teacher Award 2019”. |

E-CELL SAKEC organized a seminar on Stress Free exams on 13th March 2019. The session was delivered by Ms. Hansa Joshi and Mr. Rajesh Joshi. The session was aimed at >b>helping students deal with their exam related problems like becoming blank, forgetting the studies at the time exams/viva, lack of confidence etc. The speaker gave certain tips to deal with the exam related problem. The speakers also taught Sukshma Vyayam – A light exercise that the students can do in order to keep themselves energetic and active. The speaker took different questions from students and answered them. |

The training session was conducted by a totally accomplished speaker Mr. Jayanand Potdar, Chief Operating Officer of Godrej Properties Ltd., who is having rich and diversified experience of 30 years. The training was extremely interesting and had a good mixture of learning activities. Mr. Potdar presented the material with expertise, humor, and genuineness. The training provided some very concrete and easy-to-follow tools for assessing and evaluating student understanding, rather than simply knowledge and working toward a solution. |
“Meet The Entrepreneur : An Exceptional One” | |

This session was conducted by Ms. Deepika Singh, an esteemed entrepreneur currently working with NASA, and is a Google, Amazon cloud partner. The event was conducted on 15th March 2018 in the 4th-floor auditorium. The session being very informative gave the students an idea what Entrepreneurship is, what it offers, it’s nitty-gritty, ground realities of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, Ms Deepika Singh enriched the minds of our budding entrepreneurs by setting them in the right direction with her invaluable advice. The session concluded with a comprehensive and fruitful Q&A session. |

E-CELL SAKEC had organized a National Level Leadership Challenge- Hunar in accordance with Jaaro Education a first of its kind leadership Intelligence hunting in young leaders from among 7000+ participants & 100+ colleges. Our SAKEC Team has secured Second Place in Round 2: “Case Study Challenge” which was part of Hunar: National Level Leadership Challenge. This was a Nation Wide Hunt for India’s Best Leader Crew at Zonal Level which took place on 13th February 2018 at Acres Club, Chembur. Our bright minds Mr. Salil Deshpande, Ms. Vaishnavi Balchandran and Mr. Tejas Raval have qualified and secured a position for the last National round of Hunar. |

This session was conducted by our Internshala Student Partners Mr. Abhishek Diggewadi, Ms. Disha Dahake and Mr. Parth Parekh on 15th February 2018. The session being very informative gave the students an idea what Internshala is, what it offers and how it works to provide internships to students. Furthermore, the need and value of internships were explained to all the young minds. In addition to that Resume and Cover Letter Writing Skills were taught. And later on, the platform was thrown open for any doubts or queries. The session ended with a vote of thanks to our student speakers. |

SAKEC organized the “E-Cell Orientation” on the 29th and 30th January 2018. It was organized for all the students from first through the third year. The orientation conducted by Mr. Milind Khairnar – Assistant Professor and E-Cell Incharge, E-cell Student Incharge Mr. Pruthav Joshi, Mr. Tushar Musale and the staff and students team gave the students a clear idea of what E-Cell is, it’s goal, what it offers and how it aids the budding entrepreneurs on their way to Entrepreneurship. Many government schemes needed for funding a startup were brought into the limelight. Also the student entrepreneurs Mr. Neel Doshi – Founder Techzilla India Infotech, Co-founder Initiator, Mr. Vansh Pandya – Founder Boozeberry, Mr. Dhairya Trivedi – Founder DP Polymers, YouTuber MUMBAINDHAIRYA. These entrepreneurs shared their experience on their path towards entrepreneurship with the students. Later on the platform was thrown open to all the students for clearing all their doubts. |
“Digital Marketing– The 21st Century Skill” | |

SAKEC E-CELL organized an interactive session on “Digital Marketing– The 21st Century Skill.” on 25th January 2018, to provide a definitive guide to creating strategic, targeted & measurable online campaigns. This session was conducted by Mr. Andrew Geddie – Senior Facilitator at Regenesys, Mr. Vishal Sharma – Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Mr. Koushik Khanra – Sales Manager at Regenesys. The session began with interactive games which gave the student idea about marketing and sales. These activities were for the staff and the students alike. Later, a brief introduction to the company, Regenesys, was given by Mr. Vishal Sharma. Finally, the platform was thrown open to all the enthusiastic personalities to clear all their doubts and network with the guests. All in all the event was very knowledgeable and made the students clear about the subject matter. |

Google is hiring interns for its prestigious summer internship program on Internshala. These internships are open for 3rd-year (pre-final) Computer Engineering and Information Technology students. The last date to apply is 26th December 2017. The duration of Google summer internship program is 8-12 weeks between April – July 2018. It will involve 1-2 weeks of deep-diving and understanding the ecosystem, 1-2 weeks of granular problem definition, and remaining 4-6 weeks of solution recommendation. The session was conducted in different batches for over 84 of our Final Year Students in the month of September-October 2017. The session was to train the students about the real world scenario of how to communicate with people in a corporate sector, how to respond well in an interview and how to represent oneself in front of others as a professional. Our Faculties Mr. Arun Saklani, Ms. Shrungashree Chowdhari, Mr. Milind Khairnar, and Mr. Jagdish Sarode accompanied different batches during the visit. |

Mr. Yash Sheth and Mr. Ankit Jain, our own alumni began the session by enriching the students about their stupendous journey and mind-boggling experiences and achievements. They have also clarified various myths regarding Startups. The students were also informed about how to go about with the monetary part. Later on, the platform was thrown open to all the curious minds for clearing all the doubts. The session included a small motivational video shown to the students later. |

First Batch of this 3 day Comprehensive Program was conducted for Final Year students of Computer Engineering Branch from 6th September to 9th September 2017, 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M by Ms. Manisha Mehta, a Professional Trainer from SSRDP. The areas focused were sustainable, integrated development and improving the employability of the students and to encourage internship, entrepreneurship. The training comprised a combination of different Life Skills. Developing and improving Interview skills, Presentation skills, Resume building skills, Communication skills, Team working & Bonding were the major key areas addressed by the speaker. The batch had conducted Group Discussions and Personal Interview sessions. Creating a video resume was an interesting exercise executed by the students.
