i) Govandi railway station of Harbour Line Railway is the nearest railway station at a distance of 1km from the college. One can easily hire an auto with minimum fare or walk down in 15 minutes.
ii) One can also reach here by bus. Deonar bus stop and R.K studio bus stop are about 300m from college. Many BEST buses such as Bus nos.352, 376, 362, 501, 505, 504, 355, 399 ply on the route

The institute remains open from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days. Sundays and 2nd and 4th Saturdays are non-working days

During admission time, will the institute remain open on Saturday and Sunday?
Mostly Yes. Instructions given by DTE regarding Admission timings will be followed.

If the candidate belongs to reserved category, then will the institute provide any concession in fees?
YES, all the rules of Govt. of Maharashtra and DTE will be followed regarding fee concession.

Nearest railway station is Govandi (Harbour line)

Which is the nearest bus stop?
Deonar depot, R.K Studio, Pepsi Company are the nearest bus stops to Institute.

Can Non- minority candidates apply to the institute?
YES, 49% intake is for non- minority candidates.

What is the accreditation status of different branches of the institute?
  1. Computer and Information technology branches are accredited till June 2022.
  2. Electronics Engineering Branch was earlier accredited twice in 2005 and 2014.

Institute is also having ISO 9001:2015 Certification from RINA.

Does the institute have Management Quota?
No, the institute doesn’t have Management quota. All seats are surrendered to DTE for admission through centralized admission process (CAP). Candidates can apply for seat against vacancy.

When will admissions against vacancy start?
Seats if any, remaining vacant after CAP admissions are filled at institute level, strictly as per merit only. Online applications are invited for such seats, which are advertised in English, Marathi and Gujarati newspapers published from Mumbai.

Does the institute provide hostel facility?
Currently institute doesn’t have hostel facility.

Is it possible to change the branch after admission is confirmed?
In case vacancy is created after CAP rounds, it may be possible. However, all the latest rules laid down by DTE will be applicable in this regard.

After first year, is branch change possible?
It may be possible, however all the latest rules laid down by DTE will be applicable in this regard.

How much is the admission fee for year 2020-2021?
Details of college fees, approved by Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) will be displayed on our website in due course of time.
College fees is to be paid in the form of Demand draft of any bank for FE, and online for all remaining years. We do not accept CASH mode of payment for any fees.

What is the meaning of Admission against vacancies?
In case of cancellation of admissions, when seats remain vacant after CAP rounds, students are admitted against such vacancies. This is Admission Against Vacancies.

How are students admitted against vacant seats?

Seats remaining vacant after CAP admissions are filled at institute level, strictly as per merit only. Candidates can fill online form for admission against vacancies. Forms will be available on Institute website www.shahandanchor.com

Direct second year admissions will start after the declaration of Final year diploma results. Notification will be given by DTE regarding admission schedule
