Event Action research – connecting research, theory, and classroom practices
Event Description

Teaching Learning Centre Sakec in Collaboration with IQAC and Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science SAKEC organizes an event on “Action research – connecting research, theory, and classroom practices” to train faculty members and empower them to adapt action research in education.
Often in education, theory and praxis are placed orthogonally. However, research findings need to flow into practice and vice versa. Teachers can play a crucial role in this confluence. Instead of outside experts sampling variables, an active moment-moment data collection, analysis and theorizing present an authentic view. In this talk, we will explore the various ways of action research, and delve into some important characteristics of it. At the end of the talk, resources will be shared that the participant can utilize to conduct action research.
