CSI-SAKEC was formed in the year 2007. From then it has successively grown to one of the strongest student chapters of SAKEC. CSI-SAKEC has always lived upon its motto of: "BUILDING TECHNICAL SKILLS PROFESSIONALLY" in the past, CSI-SAKEC has been conducting various workshops, seminars and visits with the help of technically sound students for the benefit of SAKEC as well as Non SAKEC students. Student Council of CSI- SAKEC includes different teams such as Design, Treasury, Registration, Technical, Events, Documentation and Publicity. These teams collectively work for all the events conducted by CSI-SAKEC under the guidance of Staff Coordinators for the benefit of all the members

As most of you are aware, our theme for the year 2020-2021 is ‘Healthcare Technology’. Why did we plump for this topic? Healthcare technology is the topic of current interest, and with the scenario today worldwide, this subdomain of technology was a clear win. Healthcare technology includes electronic health records, tele-medicine, mHealth, remote health monitoring tools, prosthetics, and much more. The field also intersects with artificial intelligence and virtual reality, which clearly indicates the vastness of the topic. Cache 10.0 provides you with an opportunity to have a brief insight into the advancements of the field, by assembling the some of the most exciting updates in healthcare technology. The magazine is loaded with brilliant technical articles, submitted by our very own SAKEC members!

CSI-SAKEC in collaboration with Computer Engineering Department and SAKEC-IIC 5.0 is organizing an event on “Django: The Web Developer’s Toolkit”.
Event on 17 February 2023
CSI-SAKEC, in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Department, SAKEC-IIC 5.0 and AlgoZenith, organized an intercollegiate coding competition - “CODE OFF DUTY: SEASON 2”. The competition had attracted 47 active participants and was open to all individuals currently enrolled in an educational institution. Competitors were given one hour to solve five problem statements and were free to use any programming languages supported by HackerRank, such as C, C++, Java, Python, and others. The winners in each of the four levels - Rookie, Amateur, Intermediate, and Advance will be announced on February 18, 2023, on the official Instagram handle of CSI-SAKEC, and will receive a cash prize. The participants showed great interest in the work endeavors undertaken by CSI-SAKEC.
Event on 13 February 2023
CSI-SAKEC in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Department and SAKEC-IIC 5.0 organized a workshop on - “IoT: Imagine, Build, Connect” on February 13th, 2023. The event was conducted by Ms. Kshitija Bhise. In the session, the speaker gave an introduction to IoT (Internet of Things) and led the participants in a hands-on activity where they were given kits to experiment with and create their own models. Participants received step-by-step guidance, and by the end of the workshop, they had created two working models and gained valuable experience in IoT. The session ended with amazing feedback from the participants. The participants showed great interest in the work endeavors and are keen to be a part of the future ventures undertaken by CSI-SAKEC.
