STTP Objectives STTP Contents Resource Persons To get a thorough understanding of various theoretical and practical aspects of techniques in NLP To facilitate teachers who are involved in teaching NLP course which is first time introduced in Mumbai University BE Curriculum To demonstrate system developed in different application areas of NLP which will help researchers working in this field To build community of teachers under Mumbai university working in the field of NLP This workshop will cover wide range of topics from basic to advance in NLP. It primarily focuses on hands-on practical sessions in Python and other relevant tools that will assist in conduction of NLP course. It also aims to facilitate demonstration of systems developed in different application areas of NLP such as Machine Translation Information Extraction Named Entity Recognition Question Answering systems Sentiment Analysis, etc. The participants will get exposure to the research work that is taking place in the field of core NLP in IIT Bombay as some of the research scholars from IIT Bombay are exhibiting their research work in this STTP. This will greatly benefit the participants who are desirous of taking up research work in this newly emerging discipline.
