Guidelines for Academic Profile

HSC/Diploma selection: Please make the correct selection for HSC or diploma. If you make an error in this selection please send an email to webmaster@shahandanchor.com

For all the fields the enter the ‘marks obtained’ in 1st text box and the ‘total out-of marks’ in the 2nd text box horizontally adjacent to it.

For Engineering marks, enter the ‘marks obtained’ and ‘total out-of marks’ only for those semesters whose Marksheets you have.
Otherwise leave the fields as they are. These fields can be updated once you get your marksheet in the future.

In case you have not passed a semester due to a K.T. in one or more subjects, still enter the ‘marks obtained’ as the total score considering the score/s of the K.T. subject/s as shown in your Marksheets. Please DO NOT LEAVE any field blank. These fields can be updated once you clear the subject in the future. Kindly follow these steps even if you have applied for re-evaluation.

No of live KTs: Unless you have the marksheet which shows that you have cleared a subject it will be counted as live K.T. Please enter the numerical value accordingly according to your current status. You can update this status after re-evaluation and after getting the new marksheet from the college.

No of dead KTs: the no. of subjects in which you had a K.T. and you have cleared them.

No of total attempts: Every time you appear for a paper of one or more subjects (regular or K.T. attempt) in any semester it counts as an ‘attempt’ for that semester. Ideally for a student with no K.T. in any semester in engineering the no of total attempts will be 8.
E.g.: a student in Sem 4.
He had a K.T. in Maths I, BEE in Sem I (attempt = 1 for Sem I = 1).
He gave K.T. papers of Sem I and regular Sem II and had K.T. in Maths I and C.P. II (attempt = 1 for Sem I + 1 for Sem II = 2).
He gave K.T. paper of Sem I, K.T. paper of Sem II, and regular Sem III and cleared all subjects (attempt = 1 for Sem I + 1 for Sem II + 1 for Sem III = 3)
He gave regular Sem IV papers and awaiting results (total attempt = 1 for Sem IV).
Hence no of total attempts = 1+2+3+1 = 7
