Who can play the tournament?

The OMEN by HP and Mountain Dew ESL Indian College Gaming Championship LAN CS:GO tournament is open to all ages. It is a free-for- all tournament, so people need to register individually.

Maximum No. Of Participants?

Max 100 people can take part in the tournament. Registrations will be done on a first- come-first- serve basis.

Can you Re-Enter?

No, once you are eliminated you cannot re-enter. If the term is violated, the organizers hold the right to disqualify the member.

How do I play?

There is no tournament entry fee.

What is the Tournament Format?

The LAN tournament will take place in the following phases:

  1. Preliminary: Participants will face each other in a Deathmatch, with 5 people in each slot. The person with the highest score moves on to the next round.
    1. Map: De_Dust2
    2. Time limit: 5 min
  2. Top 20: Participants will face each other in a Deathmatch, with 4 people in each slot. The person with the highest score moves on to the next round.
    1. Map: De_Dust2
    2. Time limit: 5 min
  3. Top 5: The top 5 will represent the institute in the OMEN by HP & Mountain Dew ESL Gaming College Championship. They will also face each other in a Deathmatch for a prize.
    1. Map: De_Dust2
    2. Time limit: 10 min

In case enough registrations/participants are not present, the fixtures and structure will be revised accordingly on the discretion of the organizers.

In case of a tie, a 2-min tiebreaker will be held on the same map in the same format in order to determine the winner.

How are the registration slots provided?

The Registration slots are provided on a first come first serve basis.

Can I bring my own gaming gear?

Yes, gamers can bring and use their own gaming gear (mouse, mouse pad and headphones). Personal keyboards are not allowed.

Can other people take the slot if anyone fails to show up?

NO, in case the registered teams don’t show up at their respective allotted time slots then their opponents get a “Default Win Point” and the person failing to show up gets disqualified.

What can I win?

The Top 5 participants from each college will form a team and represent the college, qualifying and proceeding for the next round in the OMEN by HP & Mountain Dew ESL Gaming College Championship. Apart from that, participants can also win exclusive OMEN by HP merchandise during the tournament itself.

All terms and conditions are laid down by tournament officials of the OMEN by HP and Mountain Dew ESL Indian College Gaming Championship. Participants that register for the tournament agree to abide by the terms and conditions and need to strictly follow the rules of the tournament. In case of any dispute or unforeseen situation, the tournament officials can modify the tournament structure on the spot to ensure fair, smooth and efficient functioning of the event. The Tournament Officials of the OMEN by HP and Mountain Dew ESL Indian College Gaming Championship however can change the terms and conditions on any given time.

Who can Attend

Anyone can register for the event from FE to BE.
