Having the swiftness and ruggedness of an F1 car and the flexibility and superior control of a Robot, R1 cars are the toys to watch out. SAKEC FEST is arguably incomplete without this pillar - R1 racing. R1 is a national-level robotics event held annually in the college ground. Conducted in the memory of the late Monish Gala, it consists of a racing event that sees participants from all over India. The debut of this event was held in 2009 and was conceived and organized by Monish. A dirt race consisting of both wired and wireless Internal Combustion (IC) engine robotic, R1 is, and we say it very proudly, an original product of SAKEC. Something that has,does and will always hold a special place in the heart of every SAKECite.
